The Belmont Estate is in the countryside of North Somerset less than 10 minutes from Bristol. Comprised of 250 acres of pasture and ancient woodland with a variety of properties, the pasture is grazed by a beef suckler herd of 35 Devon Red Rubies and 20 lawn mowing ewes. The Estate adheres to organic standards and is Soil Association certified. The estate runs a growing firewood and charcoal business, producing it on site, processing / bagging it and delivering directly to a growing local customer base.

The estate is undergoing a period of regeneration including a walled garden for organic fruit and vegetable production, and a heritage orchard.

Salary: £24,000.00 to £27,000.00 /year
Green Corridor is a small, dynamic UK registered Charity in Hillingdon, working to improve the employability of disadvantaged 16-25 year-olds with special educational needs and learning disabilities through horticulture and catering.
You will be working with SEN young people and vulnerable adults on a one-to-one basis and in small groups of up to eight/ten, teaching and assessing Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in horticulture.
Full Time – average 37 hours per week
Salary Scale £17,000 p.a. - £21,000 p.a (depending on qualifications and experience)
Duties to include grass cutting, woodland management, sports ground management, grave preparation and general maintenance of open spaces.
