Sevenoaks District Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Amenities Officer to oversee the inspection and maintenance of the natural environment within the District.
The post is based at Dunbrik Depot in Sundridge and is the lead for the grounds maintenance of Housing estate lands, Bradbourne Lakes and other Parks and Countryside assets, including amenity development projects. You will be responsible for tree inspections; the preparation of woodland management plans and compliance; the inspection, maintenance and repair of Council owned play areas and equipment.

As the Road Verge Biomass Officer you will work with European and UK partners (including Christchurch Canterbury University and Highways England) to oversee the delivery of habitat enhancement works on road verges across Kent.
We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic individual to deliver practical gardening, nature engagement and wildlife conservation work on a broad range of sites as part of our Big Lottery Funded project – The Environment and Me (TEaM). The Project Officer will work alongside the The Environment and Me project team, which includes Mental Health workers, to offer engaging outdoor activities for clients from hedge laying and woodland work to river improvements and planting activities plus leading walks and delivering woodcraft activities.
