Salary range: £30,317 to £32,803 per year (Civil Service pension and other benefits)
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week
As a Community Ranger, you will increase community support and engagement with a range of sites in the Heart of the National Forest. Working with local communities and partners, you will co-ordinate community woodland volunteering and recreational activities to maximise the benefits our woodlands deliver. You will ensure that woodland sites are safe, accessible places to visit where wildlife is supported, the wellbeing of local communities is considered and engaging activities are delivered. In this public-facing role, you will support and enable recreation and participation activities as well as conducting site inspections, developing volunteer activities and overseeing habitats.
