JOB: Volunteer Coordinator

FOR: Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group

To encourage & support people from across the Manhood Peninsula to participate in wildlife conservation activities. One day a week, flexible depending on availability. Supporting & empowering local communities to take ownership of their environment, we believe, is a sustainable model for managing local wildlife sites. This is an excellent chance to make a genuine contribution to conserving wildlife & heritage & inspiring others. Learn about the work of the MWHG, have the flexibility to volunteer when & where suits you, be part of a friendly team & have the opportunity to put your skills to use as well as develop new ones. Recruitment, selection, organisation, development & support of volunteers. Create recruitment materials, & manage local distribution, campaigns, activities & events. Review & implement induction processes, arrange, attend & facilitate volunteer training.
