We’re looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our Living Seas team as seasonal volunteers. Based at our centre in New Quay, volunteers help us to collect data on marine mammal populations and inspire the public through our visitor centre & community engagement events. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience Wales’ amazing marine life and contribute to marine conservation whilst gaining valuable experience. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities available between 25 March - 4 November 2019. Living Seas Volunteers conduct land / boat based marine mammal surveys, run our visitor centre, enter / check data, help with engagement events and beach cleans. ShoreFin and SeaSeal volunteers assist with our bottlenose dolphin and Atlantic grey seal photo-ID projects. Applicants should have a passion for marine conservation and be committed to volunteering.
