Alongside your studies, you will build experience working with primary and secondary schools to deliver curriculum-linked activities that will increase students understanding of nature and the environment. Following successful completion of this programme, more than 80% of our apprentice tutors go on to be employed as permanent tutors with the Field Studies Council!

A condition of the apprenticeship is that half of the time is spent in England, but we will look to develop your skills and experience across the organisation where appropriate. While we will ask your preference on where you would like to be based and take this into consideration, we will ultimately look to place you at a centre according to our business needs and your development objectives, so your placement location can’t be guaranteed. There will also likely to be the need to move to another one of our locations at some point in the duration of your fixed term contract.
