Job Purpose

To carry out control of mink in support of a project set up and funded by NatureScot. The project aims to eradicate American mink (Neovision vision) from the spectacular landscapes of the Outer Hebrides.

To trap and humanely despatch American Mink (also rats and potentially ferrets) on the Isles of Uist using both Spring traps and live capture cage traps. This work can involve working in extremely remote areas accessed by boat.
