Job Purpose: To carry out control of mink in support of a project set up and funded by NatureScot. The project aims to eradicate American mink (Neovision vision) from the spectacular landscapes of the Outer Hebrides.
Operations Officer – South - NatureScot

Licensing Officer – Casework (2 Positions) - NatureScot

The post-holder will be a key member of NatureScot's licensing team in the Wildlife Management Activity Team undertaking a range of duties supporting the delivery of NatureScot’s licensing function. The main focus of the role is managing and delivering licensing casework responses, particularly for novel and contentious cases and cases involving new areas of licensing responsibility.

Transformative Land Use Advisor - NatureScot

Location: All locations in Scotland considered (homeworking will also be considered)
You will be working as part of a dispersed team delivering measures to support farmers and other land managers deliver low carbon, nature positive, and sustainable land management. This work supports the Scottish Government’s commitment to tackle the twin global emergencies of climate change and biodiversity loss. Specifically, you will be assessing Agri-Environment Climate Scheme (AECS) funding applications and advising farmers, crofters, and other land managers on the AECS and supporting work related to rural land management carried out by NatureScot such as participating in the Farming With Nature programme, work on planning, and protected areas site management.
