The post is based at the Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre, North Road, Retford, Nottinghamshire, DN22 8RQ. There will be also be regular travel to various locations throughout the county.

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to deliver exemplary practical habitat management on our suite of exciting reserves in the northern half of Nottinghamshire, including our flagship Idle Valley Nature Reserve.

Location: The post is based at our head offices at Sneinton Market, Nottingham. There will be also be regular travel to various locations throughout the county.

Are you passionate and enthusiastic about conservation? We are looking for someone with experience of conservation to champion the delivery of a vision for a Nature Recovery Network of connected high quality natural spaces across the City of Nottingham, and wider cityscape out to the rural countryside of Nottinghamshire. You will be involved on a range of project work, influencing key developments to secure net gains for wildlife, including local planning, Green Infrastructure Strategies and key policies such as Place Making Policy.

Conservation Project Officer - Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust

Salary: £13,655.87 for the hours worked, which equates to the full time salary of £22759.78

Contract: This is a permanent role on a part time basis of 3 days per week (0.6FTE).
