Forestry Supervisor (part-time) - Morton Hall Estate
Self-employed
The Morton Hall Estate in north Nottinghamshire contains 75 ha of prize winning mixed woodlands. These are managed commercially to meet multiple objectives including timber production, biodiversity and amenity using a Continuous Cover Forestry (CCF) approach. Annual forestry operations are expected to break even or show a small surplus.
The existing supervisor is retiring at the end of March 2021 after several decades of overseeing woodland management at Morton. We are looking to appoint an experienced individual to take over this position on a part-time basis.
