FOR WILD AREAS NETWORK

Volunteers welcome on bird ringing camps on Baltic Coast in May 2023. You have an opportunity to support one of the oldest bird ringing schemes of the World - Operation Baltic. You will help to handle caught birds, identify and ring them as well as with measuring, weighting and data entry tasks. You will get to know and distinguish every caught species by direct contact! We will stay in the heart of a well-known landscape park and sleep in tents provided at the ringing station. It's an exciting experience for Birdwatchers, Bird Ringers and Nature Lovers. We offer hands-on exchange of specialist knowledge and experience in field research abroad accompanied by our high-quality training. Time: 10 days. To apply: email us at info@wildareas.net and introduce yourself in few words, explaining why you are interested in the project and why we should choose you as a participant. You will receive a detailed infosheet and application form. www.wildareas.net
