Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust

Project Manager

The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust have been carrying out scientific research into game and wildlife, and conservation for over 80 years. We use science to promote game and wildlife management as an essential part of nature conservation.

In Scotland we are proud of our hill-edge demonstration farm, called Auchnerran, on Deeside, covering 417 ha plus extensive hill grazings. Now in its 6th year of operation, we are seeking a Project Manager to take the operation to the next level, to maximise scientific research, inform future farming models and increasing the project’s influence through-out Scotland, as an education and demonstration resource from school children to politicians.

We are looking for a strong leader who has a sound understanding of modern farming practices, but also has other strengths, such as a scientific researcher, a land manager, an advisor, or a conservationist.
