This is a great opportunity to join our successful and highly regarded One Tree Per Child project, which is making a real difference to communities and children's lives by planting 6,000 trees per year.

Working as part of a team you will help to deliver Bristol City Council's commitment to plant One Tree Per Child and support the cities ambition to double tree canopy.

You will be working with communities, schools and partners, including preparing tree planting plans and working with volunteers to plant and maintain trees.

You will also support our education programme, teaching children about the importance of trees.

You will need an NVQ4 qualification (e.g. HNC) in a relevant environmental subject and have experience of working with communities, supporting and encouraging volunteers and teaching children about the benefits of trees - although we are not expecting you to be a qualified teacher.

You will have experience of tree planting, including preparing plans and delivering schemes.

This is also a practical job involving physical work to plant and care for trees.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
