The Broads is an internationally important and protected wetland environment with status equivalent to a national park. The area is of special value for its wildlife and landscape beauty and for its navigation interest.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Strategic Services Directorate as Peat Project Manager. This role will see you coordinate the work of the Broads Peat Partnership and develop new peatland restoration and wet farming projects.

Working as part of a dynamic and supportive multiple disciplinary team, you will develop a further bid for peat restoration and help address risks for rewetting land to create peat forming habitats with both carbon and nature benefits. You will provide us with the opportunity to work with farmers and land managers and a new financial model to prepare to deliver multiple ecosystem services.

Youu2019ll need to have experience in project management, including finance and reporting. You will be working in partnership, including with farmers and land managers, with good knowledge in one or more of the following: land management; conservation; collaborative project development. The role will be based at our office in Norwich, with flexibility for home working. Secondment from partner organisations is welcomed.
