Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Projects Officer: South.
The Projects Officer is responsible for the delivery of a suite of nature recovery network and conservation projects as well as helping to develop and fundraise for new projects and programmes predominantly in the western area of the South Yorkshire region (Barnsley & Rotherham). The post is based within a team developing exciting new initiatives and there is considerable scope to develop partnership working and support other nature recovery-based projects in the Dearne Valley and Barnsley areas of the region that are aligned to the Trust’s overall Vision and Objectives.
The successful candidate will have experience environmental project management and delivery experience as well as delivering projects in both urban and rural areas. Experience of working on water environment projects would also be beneficial for this role. The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a dynamic, highly achieving team as well has having the initiative and confidence to work on their own.
