Our mission revolves around protecting and regenerating nature while fostering recreation and leisure opportunities. The Role:
As a National Landscape Ranger, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and conserving the beautiful landscape of Chichester Harbour as part of our ranger team. Your duties will evolve with the seasons, encompassing tasks such as maintaining access to public footpaths and cycle routes, and working on practical conservation efforts ranging from bramble clearance to tree planting and nature regeneration initiatives.
Your responsibilities will also include leading and engaging with volunteer work parties, as well as collaborating with various partners on nature regeneration ventures. This role offers a blend of land-based and occasional water-based work, ensuring a diverse and rewarding experience.

The ideal candidate will bring relevant qualifications, along with experience in landscape maintenance and working effectively with volunteers. Proficiency in operating machinery and equipment is essential, coupled with a keen willingness to learn and integrate seamlessly into our dedicated team.
