Rosliston Forestry Centre is a hidden gem in the heart of The National Forest, offering everything you could need for a great day out.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to help ensure this much loved tourist attraction, which offers the perfect playground to visitors of all ages, continues to move from strength to strength.
South Derbyshire District Council and the Forestry Commission, as joint owners of the 62 hectare site, are looking for an experienced Project Officer to develop future management arrangements.
With a proven track record in managing and delivering projects, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and influence partners and colleagues.
You should have detailed knowledge of procurement procedures and the know-how to ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and technical requirements.

This post is initially offered as a 12-month fixed term contract to complete the project.
