Caring for God's Acre

Get involved in practical heritage and wildlife conservation in churchyards and burial grounds in Shropshire. Learn new skills like dry-stone walling, scything, haymaking and grassland & hedgerow management and creation. Training, tools, refreshments and expenses provided. Weekly task days on Tuesday and Wednesday in beautiful surroundings and good company.

Lincoln Conservation Group

carries out practical nature conservation work in the Lincoln area, helping to sustain the local plant and animal life and having fun at the same time! We provide tools and training. Volunteer days (16 years +) are usually on the first and third Sundays each month.

RSPB Sandwell Valley

RSPB Sandwell Valley is an urban nature reserve, a wonderful green space in the heart of the West Midlands. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, from bees and newts to lapwings and foxes. Our visitor centre and wildlife garden welcome 24,000 visitors a year. The RSPB is the country’s largest nature conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home.

The Beaudesert Trust

We have a number of projects throughout the year. Projects include clearing Rhododendrons and burning the wood in our charcoal burner, repairing fences and general parkland clearing projects. We can provide all tools and a free lunch. As a Trust we are hugely grateful for any help we receive.
