BWPA on tour

Established over a decade ago, British Wildlife Photography Awards is a greatly revered and treasured competition. Each year, the BWPA images are adored in national and international press (both in print and on TV), toured around the UK in a travelling exhibition, and published in our beautiful collection books.

But BWPA goes beyond being just a competition. At the very core of BWPA is the drive to celebrate British wildlife and wild spaces, and to raise awareness about our biodiversity, species, habitats, as well as the threats to our natural heritage. With each competition, we work to encourage discovery, exploration, conservation and enjoyment of our natural heritage.

We recognise and showcase the incredible talents of photographers practising in the UK year-round, and cultivate an engaged and aware audience through the evocative and powerful imagery awarded.

The winning images are currently viewable in Gloucestershire

In March 2024, we will announce the winners of the competition and open once more for entries.
