As an Assistant Ranger you will be working alongside the other Rangers at Fell Foot and Sandscale Haws, as well as across our other sites in South East Cumbria & Morecambe Bay. Day to day you will support the Area Ranger for Sandscale Haws & Fell Foot with all aspects of the winter work programme across the two sites, working closely with our dedicated team of volunteers. Practical conservation work will form the core of this role, with a large amount of your time spent on tasks such as maintaining site infrastructure, scrub clearance, coppicing and some monitoring.
