This role is for a Water Environment Work Apprenticeship. You will be working on Riverlands, the National Trust's largest programme of work delivering our ambitions for the Natural Environment. The water environment includes rivers, coasts (the sea), lakes, wetlands, canals and reservoirs. The employee’s primary role will involve habitat creation and restoration in water environments. This will involve the use of green engineering techniques and working with natural processes.

The RSPB Dee Estuary team are seeking a dynamic and motivated warden to join a reserves team managing over 9000 hectares of nature reserve, covering over half the estuary, and comprising of a diverse suite of habitats that includes lowland wet grassland, reedbed, saltmarsh and inter tidal mudflats.
