We are looking for someone to manage and supervise the Landscape Partnership’s apprentice team, working with a wide range of partner organisations, land managers, rangers and scheme staff. You will provide direct line management for two teams of up to four apprentices running consecutively and supervise a wide range of practical tasks, ensuring the highest standards of quality is achieved in all duties carried out.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Ranger to manage one of the most beautiful countryside portfolios in the National Trust – the West Lakes, Cumbria. There are huge opportunities here balancing conservation, cultural landscape, estate maintenance, relationships with farmers and visitor engagement; which is both challenging and rewarding.
The role requires a commitment of around 15 hours a week, primarily during weekday evenings.

TG have experience in working to secure planning consent by way of assessment and design inputs across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, transport and energy proposals.
We are offering trainee placements on the Carbon Landscape project for local people who wish to have a career in environmental conservation. Each placement will have the opportunity to have hands on experience learning conservation management and general project management skills whilst earning minimum wage.

Bowland Ecology are looking for seasonal field workers/subcontractors for the 2019 survey season (approximately April to September) to assist with and/or lead protected species surveys including great created newts and bats.

The role will be home-based but require liaison with relevant head office teams, BASC country and regional offices and there will also be significant contact with external bodies.
