A key component of the Trust’s work towards achieving a healthy and productive marine environment has been its Living Seas project, which focuses on marine planning, policy, and community engagement at both national and local levels. The Trust is keen to increase its capacity to engage with Scotland’s marine environment, and is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Marine Policy Officer to join it’s Living Seas team. The role will focus predominantly on developing and advocating the Trust’s position on marine nature-based solutions and the role they can play in tackling climate change, reversing biodiversity loss, and supporting Scotland’s green recovery.

‘Back from the Brink’ Cotswolds Conservation Officer - Butterfly Conservation

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Conservation Officer to deliver the final year of the ‘Back from the Brink’ Cotswolds project across target limestone grasslands. The Conservation Officer will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the project Activity Plan, particularly focusing on working with landowners and partner organisations to deliver species focused outcomes and ensuring the project legacy is sustained.

Salary: £25,997 - £27,727 per annum
This post will plan, co-ordinate, train and assess for countryside worker, water environment and related occupations, including contract delivery for the National Trust and the Environment Agency. Your knowledge and experience in the full range of countryside management, including water management, will be shared with apprentices and colleagues and the quality and delivery of the new programmes carefully updated and monitored with the support of the Team Leader Countryside and Water Environment and Curriculum Manager.
