JOB: Sustrans Schools Cycling Volunteers - I Bike Scotland

BE4: Ongoing

LOC: Various locations across Scotland

PAY: Training*

FOR: Sustrans Scotland

Are you passionate about cycling and walking and would like to help inspire young people to be more active? We're currently looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer with our fantastic I Bike schools projects in Aberdeen; Aberdeenshire; Dumfries; Falkirk; Glasgow; Inverness; Midlothian; Perth & West Lothian. You would be supporting activities for children aimed at encouraging more cycling, walking and scooting. What could be better than helping children to ride their bike without stabilisers for the first time! You don't need to be an expert cyclist - we're looking for people who are enthusiastic, committed, reliable, patient and good communicators. We offer an induction and training package for volunteers to develop your confidence in working alongside our I Bike officers in schools. We also provide regular support and opportunities to socialise with other I Bike volunteers, and you will be part of the wider Sustrans volunteering network. *All training provided, including Cycle Ride Leader, bike maintenance and safeguarding. Time commitment: at least once a month. ASK: Please contact annie.cousins@sustrans.org.uk for more information or visit https://c-js.co.uk/2Uy0WfQ
