JOB: National Whale and Dolphin Watch Assistant
BE4: 10/3/19
IV: 11-17/3/19
LOC: New Quay, Ceredigion

FOR: Sea Watch Foundation
This position will suit a volunteer who has a strong interest in marine conservation, education and in raising awareness by involving the public. The assistant is responsible for their own travel and living expenses, but it is generally quite easy to obtain part-time paid work in the area if required. The National Whale and Dolphin Watch event (July 27th-August 4th) was created to increase public awareness of the diversity of cetaceans - a collective name for all whales, dolphins and porpoises - found around the British Isles, and to draw attention to the need for conservation, protection and continued research into their status, distribution, and abundance.
