Scottish Forestry (SF) is an agency of the Scottish Government. Working with stakeholders to promote the interests of forestry and providing support and guidance around policy and regulations in line with the Scottish Forestry Strategy. Our National Office is based at Edinburgh, as well as having five Conservancies (South, Central, Perth & Argyll, Grampian and Highland & Islands). The Conservancies carry out regulatory and grant support functions. Promoting sustainable forestry and balancing the needs of timber production with those of landscape, biodiversity and people.
