As a member of an Operations Analysis and Reporting team(s), you will provide effective business ownership of NRW’s Water Framework Directive (WFD) ecology and River Habitat Survey (RHS) ecology data. The breadth of ecological data involved may be expanded in future. You will play a key role working with the Development and Innovation Programme and Subject Matter Experts to develop and enhance NRW’s ecology data management solution (KiECO).

The purpose of this role is to deliver regulatory actions and contribute to work plans over several statutory work areas.

The post holder will be part of the Development Planning Advice Service team, to deliver timely co-ordinated advice which supports the ecosystem approach to the use of Wales’ natural resources.
Contract type: Temporary 12 month post, with possibility of extension.
Work pattern: 74hrs over a fortnight plus standby duties once every 4-6 weeks.
Grade / Salary: 2 - £18,098 - £21,366
Be part of a small work group and provide an emergency response service for the Natural Resources Wales on an operational site and ensure work is delivered in a safe and environmentally sensitive way.
