FOR: Marches Mosses Boglife Project

Great opportunity to assist with the restoration of part of Britain’s 3rd largest lowland raised peat bog as part of the Marches Mosses BogLIFE Project. The NNR is 690ha & straddles the English / Welsh border, 4 miles from Whitchurch, Shropshire & 10 miles from Wrexham. Volunteer work parties take place every Thursday, tasks carried out include estate management, fencing, habitat management and some monitoring works.
