Dorset Wildlife Trust is looking for a hardworking and passionate person to join our Wilder Landscapes team. The postholder will be based in West Dorset and will work alongside the team to help create more space for nature. The work will involve working with farmers, landowners and partner organisations as well as leading volunteer tasks such as meadow restoration and hedge laying.

Dorset Wildlife Trust is currently looking to fill four exciting job roles to help deliver a major new initiative to increase wildlife abundance in Dorset. The initiative is funded by a grant worth over £1 million from the Government’s Species Survival Fund, and supported by individual givers.
Making Space for Nature in Dorset aims to create thriving wildlife hubs, which will help drive wildlife conservation throughout Dorset. The project will create and revitalise over 500ha of habitats across 18 distinctive nature reserves, as well as help neighbouring landowners to enhance the wildlife habitats on their land.
