JOB: Natural Wellbeing Trainee

PAY: Training & travel expenses*

FOR: Cheshire Wildlife Trust

Gain experience & skills in the area of natural wellbeing. Through volunteering for 1 year, 3 days a week, you will engage with vulnerable adults, support the delivery of practical volunteering sessions & help to monitor the project’s success. Whilst also completing practical habitat management tasks, which will increase your awareness of local wildlife & conservation. *Free access to CWT internal training courses. Training budget available for external training courses. Help with CV / job applications at the end of the placement & a reference. We are looking for someone with the following qualities: passion for being outdoors & an understanding of natures impact on wellbeing; experience of engaging with disadvantaged or vulnerable adults; reliable, proactive, able to use initiative; friendly, fun, creative & approachable. A good level of fitness & mobility is required as we will be spending a significant amount of time outside, often on difficult terrain.
