FOR: Cardiff Conservation Volunteers

6-7 hpw. We hold conservation tasks every Sunday in different locations in & around Cardiff. Every task is different & we teach skills such as dry stone walling, woodland maintenance, pond building / clearance, footpath / step / boardwalk building, coppicing trees, planting etc. You don't have to commit to every Sunday so it's completely up to you what task is suitable for you to join. We also go away for the weekend a couple of times a year. We're always looking for volunteers so we welcome everyone to join when they can. It's a great way to meet new people, get some exercise, learn new skills & discover the countryside around Cardiff & South Wales. Our primary aim is to promote the conservation, protection & improvement of the physical & natural environment anywhere, whilst having an enjoyable time doing so. Just bring a packed lunch & come in old clothes. ASK: Visit our website www.cardiffconservation.org.uk for more information or contact 07450700214 (Our CCV hotline).
