The Role
We are looking for Rural Estates Casual Workers to help us undertake practical conservation related tasks across a variety of sites either owned or managed by the Peak District National Park Authority.
In the role, you will be part of a casual pool of staff responsible for assisting in tasks such as hedge laying, repairing dry stone walls, tree and woodland management and rights of way maintenance. The frequency of the work will be ad hoc with more work likely to be available through the autumn and winter months.
This is a casual role with no fixed hours. Any available work will be offered and agreed in advance and may include weekend and Bank Holiday working.
About You
You will need to have experience of working outdoors in all weather conditions, have experience of, and interest in, practical conservation work such as hedge laying and dry stone walling.
