Salary: £26,000 - £28000 p.a. (depending on qualifications and experience) plus pension and expenses

Building the Links for Rockingham Forest is a 2-year project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The long-term goal of Rockingham Forest Vision is to encourage nature recovery and connect the remaining core fragments of ancient woodland with a biodiverse wider landscape. The current project will reconnect communities to the Forest through events, training and education, and help to build the long-term vision.
The ideal post holder will be self-motivated and flexible, and have experience of working with partners and communities on conservation projects. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required. Academic training in a conservation/environmental subject, and experience of reporting to an external funder are desirable.
The Project Officer will be employed by Nene Rivers Trust, working closely with the project steering group.
Interviews, and an informal walk, will be held at Fineshade, Corby on the 3rd or 4th of November
Closing Date: 27/09/2022 Location: The post holder will have the option to work from Fineshade (Corby), Chester House (near Wellingborough) and from home (regular presence in the forest required for events/engagement).
