Hampshire County Council is recruiting a Project Officer within the Countryside Service. Joining the Countryside Project Team you will develop, coordinate and deliver a programme of works - mainly on Hampshire’s Public Rights of Way network and our open spaces.
You will be working to develop, coordinate and support a programme of projects on public rights of way, areas of open country and other forms of public access to the countryside. The post holder will be expected to build on the team’s close working ties with other departments within the County Council to explore alternative funding streams.
The post will be based in Winchester, but you will be expected to work from home and at other offices around the County as required. As the post will require county-wide travel, you must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of this role

Whilst this role is office based (Winchester), you will be expected to attend external meetings at other locations, undertake site visits and work from offices around the county as required.
