Oxfordshire County Council's Countryside Access Team are recruiting for a permanent Countryside Access Officer.

About us

An exciting and rare opportunity to perform a crucial role in providing, maintaining, and protecting access to the wonderful countryside of Oxfordshire's 2,600 miles rights of way network.

About the role

This post will undertake a variety of public rights of way duties. Ensuring the protection, maintenance and improvement of our network including legal enforcement in support of the Council's responsibilities as Highway Authority.

About you

We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic countryside access professional with proven experience of rights of way management, to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You'll be a proactive self-starter with strong time management, communication, and negotiation skills, who is able to work independently and as part of the team.
