Home working, but ideally in SW England.
The Rivers Trust has doubled in turnover and head count in the past year and the finance team needs to expand to support the organisation’s new stature. We are a charity dedicated to restoring rivers in the UK and Ireland to good health. We are seeking an experienced full-time Finance Director to replace our part time Head of Finance, who is leaving us after three years in post. We are also seeking to appoint an additional Project Finance Officer to manage the finances for some of our many exciting projects. The Rivers Trust team is deeply committed and very friendly. It’s an inclusive and welcoming place to work.
Finance Director. Circa £70K.
Our current part-time (0.6 FTE) Head of Finance is leaving us in December after 3 years in post because the role needs someone who can commit to working full time, after two years of rapid growth in turnover, head count and complexity of projects. The Rivers Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced accountant with knowledge of the not for profit and charitable sectors, who is a very able manager, communicator and team player. Our charity is growing very rapidly and we are seeking a leader who can play a central role, working alongside the Chief Executive and Operations Director, to develop the organisation and enable it to grow sustainably.
Project Finance Officer. Circa £28K.
The rapid growth of The Rivers Trust (see above) means that we now need to appoint a full time Project Finance Officer to augment the existing team of three people reporting to the Head of Finance. The Rivers Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced financial administrator with a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage software. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, very well organised and efficient and a team player.
