Full-time (37 hours per week)
Salary - GBP 28,574 - 30,462 per annum. Fixed term contract to 31st March 2024.
There has never been a Catchment-wide education programme for the River Evenlode. The ECP aims to meet this urgent need by increasing the connection, educational experience and active involvement of young people and their wider communities with the River Evenlode.
The Evenlode Education Programme (EEP) will be developed from the bottom up in partnership with education professionals working in schools, colleges and universities within, and surrounding, the Catchment. The role-holder will also work closely with the Community Outreach Officer to develop relationships with youth group leaders, community groups, etc. Consultations in different parts of the catchment will be held with education professionals. The results of these consultations will define and guide the development and delivery of the education programme and ensure its maximum impact.
As this is a new role in a new and exciting programme, we expect it to develop and evolve over the first few months of employment - through ideas led by the role-holder.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity please contact James Webb (Partnerships and Fundraising Lead) on 07815 195610.
