This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team managing the Basingstoke Canal and running the Canal Visitor Centre. Our Visitor Centre, which generates much needed funds for the Canal, is set in beautiful surroundings and attracts thousands of visitors throughout the year.
It's a demanding role but if you like variety, dealing with customers and being part of a friendly and enthusiastic team, then this is the ideal position for you!
You'll be the first point of contact, handling a variety of enquiries and taking bookings for our function room, campsite and boat trips. You'll also be responsible for managing and developing our website and social media sites, assisting with the organising and running of events.
This position will involve working weekends on a rota basis from March through to October.
Ideally you'll be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with previous administrative experience, coupled with solid IT skills and confident communication skills.
