Salary: £35,812 - £40,326

Contract type: Permanent / Working hours: Full time

Cornwall Wildlife Trust is dedicated to the conservation and restoration of Cornwall's natural environment. With a legacy of protecting some of the county’s most vital habitats and nature reserves, we are now embarking on an ambitious new strategy to significantly expand our impact.

As the Head of Wider Landscapes Recovery, you will be at the forefront of our new strategy, driving efforts to increase the space dedicated to nature recovery beyond our nature reserves. This pivotal role will focus on supporting, influencing, and enabling landowners, businesses, and stakeholders with significant impacts on nature.

You will acquire land for habitat creation, work with partners to develop and deliver impactful landscape scale projects, explore and develop ways to access funding streams, make the case for nature in local plans and decision-making, and develop and lead a team to work with landholders to create habitats and restore species’ abundance.

The ideal candidate will have a conservation and estate management background, with experience in managing a team, working with multiple partners, securing funding and will have a deep insight of what’s needed for nature’s recovery and a strong track record in delivering projects on the ground.

If you are passionate about driving positive change for nature in Cornwall and have a track record of strategic conservation leadership, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
