The North Cornwall Team’s Tintagel to Holywell stunning places are primarily coastal with a variety of habitats and landscapes, many designated for their wildlife, heritage and landscape values. Our headlands, cliffs, dunes, beaches and species-rich grasslands are made accessible by the South West Coast Path and our mission help define one of the most loved parts of Cornwall.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Area ranger you'll be responsible for the day-to-day practical management of our countryside places. Working to agreed work programmes you'll plan and prioritise work regularly, including weekly tasks for our volunteers.
You’ll undertake a wide variety of practical countryside management tasks e.g. rights of way maintenance, habitat management, nature restoration and site presentation; maintain tools and equipment; be responsible for your own and others working safely; comply with internal guidance and compliance; undertake or organise surveys and monitoring; and work with and supervise a diverse range of volunteers including related administration duties.
