Due to expansion of the PROW team, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Public Path Orders Officer. Based in Municipal Buildings, Crewe, you will be responsible for processing Public Path Order applications across the Borough, from receipt of application, through consultation, Committee decision, to Order making and public inquiry, as required.

The role requires a mix of office work, with flexible remote working, and independent fieldwork. You’ll be liaising with applicants, user groups, elected Members, Town and Parish Councils, landowners and agents. You’ll have responsibility for budgetary tasks and updating the Definitive Map and Statement, undertake other legal PROW processes such as temporary closures and respond to general enquiries from the public and colleagues.
