Green Space Officer

37 hours per week. Permanent
Salary Range £31,974.12 to £34,922.16
Beech Hurst, Andover / Agile working (ref LW29)

Working in the Community and Leisure Service, you will be supporting the delivery of the Council’s Green Space Strategy which aims deliver outstanding, resilient green space with the environment, climate change, and people at the heart of our decision making.

We are looking for someone who is confident managing varied projects, designing innovative as well as traditional planting schemes, and working with volunteers to ensure our spaces meet the needs of the community.

We would love to hear from you if you hold recognised qualification in landscape management or a related discipline, or are able to demonstrate relevant work experience and are passionate about the vital role green spaces play in place making. This is a diverse role with no two days being the same. You will therefore need excellent communication skills together with enthusiasm to motivate the communities, who use our green spaces, to ensure they meet their full potential. Access to your own vehicle will be required as regular travel throughout the borough will be expected.
