Salary in the range of £22,190 to £25,130 per annum (inclusive of all allowances)
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career and gain experience by helping to manage one of the UKs best wood pastures and a locally important heathland site in the final stages of restoration. Burnham Beeches National Nature Reserve and Special Area of Conservation and Stoke Common SSSI, combined consist of 750 acres of ancient woodland, wood pasture, valley bog and heathland visited by well over 600,000 people each year.
Are you ready to take the next step in your career by helping deliver a wide range of practical habitat and estate works over the winter of 2022 -23? As a team player you will be involved in carrying out a wide range of habitat and estate management operations, supervising volunteers and providing a welcoming and friendly site presence. This role provides a perfect opportunity to build your CV- working hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday only.
You must be able to show an ability to be organised, a willingness to work outside in all weather (at times on difficult terrain) and have the desire and tenacity to develop new skills.
The successful candidate will be based at the estate Office in Hawthorn Lane, Farnham Common, Bucks SL2 3TE
A DBS check is required for this post.
