An exciting opportunity has arisen in Countryside Services for a Senior Tree Officer. The District enjoys a high population of trees, but with a changing climate they need our help more than ever. The successful applicant will assist the Council in adapting to the impacts of climate change and meet its corporate objectives and statutory obligations in relation to trees, including advice to planning service (Place) and other Council departments as required.
The key responsibilities for the role of Senior Tree Officer are as follows:

Applicants should hold a nationally recognised arboricultural qualification at Level 6 together with substantial post qualification experience in the arboriculture industry.
