A great opportunity for someone interested in making a career in environmental education this is a broad role within our education team with a specific emphasis on climate change.
We have been gifted a new building from which to base our work and our ambition is to explain climate change and its challenges whilst at the same time highlighting solutions and mitigations.
Founded in 1975, the CET is based on a small farm in Beaulieu, with a residential centre, ancient woodland, a heritage orchard and productive garden and we are adding climate teaching to our current programmes around conservation, habitat management, farming and gardening for people of all ages.
This new role will encompass a range of tasks including working within a research project into regenerative farming, learning to deliver education sessions, social media development and support to the DCEO.
This three day per week role could encompass an additional two days of administrative work for a candidate with the appropriate skills .
The contract term is 18 months. Hours are 22.5 per week, with pay in a range from £9.00 per hour. Additional benefits include free entry to Beaulieu and its attractions on a family basis, and a birthday day off.
