Reports to: Northern Reserves Manager
Contract: 37.5 hours/week – Permanent
Based: Lower Moor Nature Reserve
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become involved in the management and maintenance of some of the country’s finest nature reserves. If you have already gained conservation practical skills and experience and are looking for a role in which you will be able to express and convey your passion whilst really making a difference, then we would like to hear from you.
The role will involve practical land and estate management that will vary especially by season and habitat. You will work as part of a small estates team, alongside farm and conservation officers to deliver the annual work programme. The role will be very visible and you will meet members of the public on a daily basis, lead and develop volunteer opportunities and help organise and deliver events. From time to time you may also find that you are helping to deliver our practical work alongside our youth or adult wellbeing projects, Care farm, and forest schools activities.
Closing Date: Midday Friday 2nd October 2020
(Successful candidates will be notified by Tuesday 6th October. If you have not heard from us by 5pm on this date then unfortunately you will have been unsuccessful. It is Trust policy not to provide feedback at this stage).
