Salary: £28,142 - £31,022
Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Employment Location: Your normal place of work is to be agreed but you may be required to work at any Council workplace within County Durham.
Environment Services are looking for an Arborist Forestry Gardener 3 to join their Clean and Green Team
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will be lead member of a Ground Maintenance team carrying out high quality gardening and ground maintenance work, ensuring the team carry out all work in a safe manner following the Council’s practices and procedures.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in Horticulture, Arboriculture or other related discipline.
- CS 30/31- Chainsaw use + Felling small trees
- CS 38+39- Safe operation from a chainsaw from a harness inc. aerial rescue
- Full clean driving licence that is appropriate to the vehicles and plant they are expected to drive/operate

If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
