Our ambition for delivering Nature’s Recovery, Climate Adaptation, Carbon Capture and Public Benefit is huge in the Peak District. We have a clear vision for the future of the 18,000-hectares of land we care for in the Peak District, to ensure it provides benefit to nature, climate and people.

You'll co-ordinate our approach and ensure the Land and Nature Team are set up for success. Once a plan has been agreed, you'll set up a support network for our tenant farmers to ensure we continue our commitment to engage and support them into the future.

You'll also coordinate a programme of workshops, events and external visits which demonstrate best practice and explore the range of funding opportunities to help our tenants deliver nature rich landscapes whilst supporting the rural economy.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven networking skills and an ability to create great relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Proven track record of managing projects and managing budgets
  • Proven track record of securing funding/grants
  • Some knowledge of farming, conservation and landscape scale approach would be an advantage but not essential
