We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic youth worker to start in January 2024 for at least nine months, with the possibility of extension. The role will pick up and run existing social action wildlife projects and build new relationships with schools and youth clubs in disadvantaged areas within Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. The role includes also includes supporting the Trust to implement its EDI Action Plan and taking an active role in both facilitating and supporting its Young People’s Forum.
The role involves building a network of organisations, charities, groups and institutions that support young adults and are looking to enable environmental action through youth empowerment.
The post is offered as a 9 month contract.
The role is for 35 hours a week. The salary starts at £24,336 per annum
