Are you passionate about connecting people with nature to inspire action for a Wilder Nottinghamshire?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to inspire and empower local people to take action for nature at home and in the wider community, with a focus on north Nottinghamshire. Combining community outreach and site-based approaches, you will create links between communities and our flagship Idle Valley Nature Reserve, raising awareness of the need for action and facilitating positive change towards a Wilder Nottinghamshire.
Knowledge of, and links with, communities surrounding the Idle Valley Nature Reserve will be as important as your commitment to creating a Wilder Nottinghamshire. As part of our People and Nature team you’ll work with volunteers and community champions to build a movement for nature across Nottinghamshire. If you’re passionate about working with others to bring about benefits for people and for wildlife, we’d love to hear from you.
This position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check
Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation charity run by local people for the benefit of local wildlife, with nature reserves across the county - part of a UK network of 46 local Wildlife Trusts working to protect wildlife.
£24,730.37 per annum
This is a permanent full time (37.5 hours per week) contract
Based at Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre (North Road, Retford, DN22 8SG)
There will be also be regular travel to various locations throughout the county.
