National Forest Inventory & Trees Outside Woodland Surveyors

Two full time sub-contracting roles located in: Cornwall & Central/Eastern Southern England.

Contract period – July 2023 to June 2027.

Payment: Variable (dependant on complexity of work).

Candidates will:

• Be physically fit.
• Hold a Forestry qualification equivalent to level 5 or above.
• Have own means of transportation.
• Arrange appropriate insurance.
• Be able to provide personal surveying equipment.
• Implement appropriate lone working procedure.

Specific areas of skills & knowledge include navigation, NVC, advanced tree & basic ground flora identification, habitat identification, Knowledge of silviculture, pests, diseases & mensuration.
