Fisheries Officer

The Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board is the statutory authority responsible from protecting and improving salmon fisheries within the River Tay district, Scotland, under the terms of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Consolidation (Scotland) Act 2003. 

We are looking to recruit a Fisheries Officer to work in our small team. The work will be varied and interesting, ranging from enforcement of salmon fisheries law, assisting in a restocking programme and a range of projects involving the salmon's environment.

The post will be based at Almondbank, near Perth, but will involve a lot of outdoor work and travelling throughout the large and varied catchment. 

The salary will range from £23,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
