Ecology Coordinator
Bowland Ecology is seeking to recruit an Ecology Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team. The role has arisen due to increasing workloads, continued company expansion and the rapidly changing nature of ecological services. The aim of the post is to improve links between the Company’s systems of gaining and delivering work. This is a new and potentially evolving role, and it is envisaged that the key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Quoting/tendering for work
- Working closely with staff and survey coordinator to ensure appropriate allocation of project work
- Report writing
- Assisting with preparation of RAMS
Our Head Office is based in Clitheroe. The role is flexible in terms of working hours and location, and it is envisaged that this could be a ‘family friendly’ position. The ideal candidate will have ecological experience and knowledge within a previous technical role but may be looking for a position within office or school hours.

We expect that suitable candidates would have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, a relevant degree and a good knowledge of ecological practice. In terms of salary, this will depend upon experience but would likely be between 25-32K pa. We offer flexible working conditions and a range of benefits:
